Q4 2023 iOS Crime Game Performance in France: Sensor Tower Insights

As the year 2023 wraps up, the crime games category on the iOS platform has shown varied performance across the top applications in France. Sensor Tower's data gives us a unique glimpse into how these games fared in the fourth quarter.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects by Wooga, experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $47K and dipping to $25K by the end of Q4. Downloads followed a declining pattern, starting at approximately 3K and ending the quarter with about 1.5K. The game's weekly active users (WAU) also saw a gradual decline from 53K to around 45K.

The Grand Mafia by Phantix Games displayed a more stable revenue pattern, with numbers ranging between $18K and $25K. Downloads saw an initial 2.2K, dipping mid-quarter to just over 1K, and then a rise towards the end of December to nearly 2K. WAU for The Grand Mafia showed a slight decline from 14K to around 13K.

Another title from Phantix Games, Mafia City: War of Underworld, revealed a revenue trend with ups and downs, with a peak at $32K and a low at $18K. Downloads began at 411 and saw a mid-quarter spike to 953, before stabilizing around 700. The WAU count decreased from 5.3K to 4.1K.

Playrix's Manor Matters showed an overall steady revenue, ranging from $9K to $13K. Downloads had a sharp increase in November, jumping from a few hundred to over 1.6K. The game's active users saw an increase from 28K to 32K in November, before ending the quarter around the 28K mark.

Lastly, Idle Mafia by DianDian Interactive Holding, witnessed a revenue trend that started at $6K and peaked at $10K. Downloads saw growth, particularly in December, jumping from under 1K to over 3K. The WAU similarly increased, from 8K at the start of the quarter to over 12K by the end.
